Frequently asked questions
Clear questions.
Grounded expectations.
Our services, the first planning conversation, and what to agree before taking the next step.
Where does Fit2Occupy focus?
Fit2Occupy focuses on office decisions in Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area. Tell us the municipality and building before assuming a project falls within scope. Local requirements and the availability of professional services must be checked for each project.
What are the four stages?
Discover Your Space; Explore the Fit with AI; Design & Secure Permits; Build Your Workplace. These describe a decision journey. The first enquiry is not a contract for every stage. Professional design, applications and construction require separate scope, qualified participants and agreements.
How do I get guest AI access?
Submit the guest access request form. Requests are stored for manual review; the form does not activate a public AI tool. Access, if available and appropriate, is provided through a separate controlled invitation. Do not upload a plan to an unapproved AI service.
What can preliminary guidance tell me?
It can organize stated workplace needs, assumptions and questions about a candidate space. AI or human-assisted preliminary guidance is not architectural certification, a code review, a permit approval or a guarantee of capacity, fit or cost. Verify important decisions with the appropriate professionals.
Do I need drawings to start?
No. Start with the city, approximate area, team size, attendance and the decision you face. Dimensioned, authorized drawings make later review more useful. A floorplan is optional. We can arrange a suitable way to share it after discussing your project.
Will you produce permit or construction drawings?
An enquiry or Space Check does not include permit-ready or construction documentation. If that work is appropriate, its deliverables, responsible qualified professionals and coordination duties must be defined in a separate written scope. Qualified responsibilities are confirmed for the agreed project scope.
Who is responsible for permits?
The property owner, applicant and appointed professionals must establish responsibilities under the applicable rules. Requirements depend on use, alterations, location and building conditions. Check with the local municipality before construction or changing use; preliminary website guidance is not permission to proceed.
How is my information handled?
We use your contact and project information to respond to your request. Your draft is private to this browser. Avoid sensitive plans until we agree a suitable sharing method. We do not offer marketing subscriptions. See our Privacy page for details.
What experience do the project cards represent?
The sector cards are fictional concept studies created to explain planning questions. Their companies are invented; their diagrams are original illustrations, not client projects, completed engagements, testimonials or proven results. The Toronto office hero is generated illustrative imagery.
What does it cost and how long does it take?
There is no published fixed price or guaranteed turnaround. Scope depends on the space, available information and services involved. Agree deliverables, fees and timing in writing before instructing professional or construction work.
What happens after I enquire?
You receive a reference and an email acknowledgement. We review the project context and discuss a suitable next step. An AI consultation request does not activate guest access.
